The "Spumante Metodo Classico Extra Brut - Fulvio Beo - Balthazar" produced by Cà Rugate is one of the jewels of Italian winemaking, recognized for its refinement and complexity. This spectacular sparkling wine comes from the renowned Veneto region, where the climate and terroir are ideal for the production of high-quality sparkling wines.

This sparkling wine is produced following the stringent Metodo Classico, which involves a secondary fermentation in the bottle. The Metodo Classico is known for giving the wine greater complexity and better integration of the bubbles, resulting in a finer and more persistent mousse. The cuvée is composed of grapes selected with the utmost rigor, ensuring that only the best clusters are used.

The Extra Brut, with its very low sugar residue, enhances the purity and essence of the fruit, presenting a light body and lively freshness. On the nose, it reveals aromas of white fruit, light notes of bread crust, and nuances of citrus. In the mouth, the first impression is of crispness followed by a pleasant minerality that leads to a long and clean finish.

Whether for a celebration or a sophisticated aperitif, the "Spumante Metodo Classico Extra Brut - Fulvio Beo - Balthazar" by Cà Rugate is an excellent choice that will captivate lovers of expressive and well-structured sparkling wines. Serve at a temperature of 6-8°C to fully enjoy its qualities.

This sparkling wine not only tells the story of a rich and vibrant territory, but it is also a testament to the excellence that the Cà Rugate winery achieves year after year.

Winery history
The Tessari family has been cultivating vineyards in the area for over a century; the Ca' Rugate label first appeared on bottles in 1986. In 2001 Michele Tessari, the fourth generation of the family, launched a project to reorganize the estate and expand the vineyards, and the new winery in Montecchia di Crosara was inaugurated in 2002. Over the years the estate has developed wine‑tourism activities and created a wine museum to tell the family's agricultural history.
Production philosophy
Quality that begins in the vineyard is a priority: sustainable management and low-impact practices to enhance native varieties and the expression of the terroir. Since 2004 the estate has adopted more sustainable agronomic methods and demonstrates a commitment to traceability and preserving the local character. Since 2013 it has been part of Indipendenti del Soave.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are situated on the hills of Val d'Alpone and on land well suited to Soave Classico, Valpolicella and Lessini Durello. The soils have a volcanic and calcareous‑basaltic composition typical of the Soave area; some parcels lie on ridges and terraces with steep slopes and average elevations of around 400–450 meters above sea level.
Awards and recognitions
Numerous national and international awards, including several 'Tre Bicchieri' from the Gambero Rosso guide for the winery's wines, and medals/recognitions at international competitions also dedicated to mountain and heroic wines.
