The Pinot Grigio Collio DOC "Mongris" by Marco Felluga represents an excellent example of the prestigious winemaking in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Collio, known for its breathtaking landscapes and rich, mineral-laden soils, imparts unique characteristics to the wine, reflected in every sip of this exclusive Pinot Grigio.

Produced using 100% Pinot Grigio grapes, "Mongris" is the result of a meticulous selection of the best grapes grown on the sun-drenched hills of the region. The name "Mongris" is an acronym formed from the Italian words "Mon" (mountain) and "Gris" (grey), reflecting the origin and varietal of the wine.

After harvesting, the grapes undergo a gentle pressing; this is followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh, fruity aroma typical of Pinot Grigio. Subsequently, the wine matures on the lees for several months, acquiring complexity and structure.

Upon tasting, Marco Felluga's "Mongris" surprises with its elegance and liveliness. It presents a light straw-yellow color with golden reflections. The bouquet is rich with nuances, ranging from notes of ripe white fruit, such as pear, to floral sensations and light touches of spices. On the palate, it is fresh and well-balanced, with a smoothness that envelops the mouth, followed by a pleasant acidity that invites a second sip.

This wine is ideal to serve as an aperitif or paired with fish dishes, seafood, and fresh cheeses. With its distinctive and refined character, the Pinot Grigio Collio DOC "Mongris" by Marco Felluga is an excellent choice for those seeking a wine that blends tradition and quality.
