The Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG produced by Le Cimate is a high-quality red wine, characterized by a harmonious and intensely structured profile. This wine emerges from the hills of Umbria, a region renowned for its winemaking tradition, benefiting from an ideal microclimate for the optimal ripening of the Sagrantino grapes.

With a deep ruby red color and violet reflections, the Montefalco Sagrantino from Le Cimate offers a complex and enveloping bouquet on the nose. Notes of ripe berries, such as blackberries and plums, blend with spicy hints of black pepper and vanilla, enriched by nuances of tobacco and leather, a testament to an excellent maturation in barrique.

On the palate, the wine displays a robust tannic structure, balanced by a lively acidity that promises an incredible aging potential. The sip is rich and persistent, with a return of the fruity and spicy sensations perceived on the nose, culminating in a long and pleasantly complex finish.

Ideal to accompany rich and flavorful dishes, such as roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses, the Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG by Le Cimate encapsulates the essence of the Umbrian territory, making it a wine that stands out for its strength and elegance. It is an excellent option for connoisseurs seeking a wine that can evolve beautifully over time.
