Melini's Morellino di Scansano DOCG is a red wine that expresses the richness and variety of the Maremma territory, in the Tuscany region. This area, renowned for its wines of character and structure, finds one of its most authentic and appreciated expressions in Morellino di Scansano. Melini, a historic winery with a deep knowledge of the territory and its viticultural varieties, produces this Morellino with Sangiovese grapes, the main grape variety of Tuscany, known locally as Morellino in the Scansano area.

Melini's Morellino di Scansano is characterized by its intense ruby red color, with violet reflections that anticipate its liveliness and freshness. On the nose, the wine opens with a rich and complex bouquet, where notes of ripe red fruits stand out, such as cherries and plums, enriched by nuances of spices and a light herbaceous hint, which give depth and aromatic complexity.

In the mouth, the wine is balanced and harmonious, with soft, well-integrated tannins that support a medium structure. The acidity, typical of Sangiovese, is well balanced, contributing to the freshness and drinkability of the wine. The finish is long and pleasantly fruity, with an aftertaste that recalls the notes perceived on the nose.

Melini's Morellino di Scansano DOCG is a versatile wine, capable of accompanying a wide range of dishes, from pasta with meat sauces to second courses of red meat and game, up to mature cheeses. Its elegance and its ability to express the territory also make it an excellent meditation wine.

With its Morellino di Scansano, Melini confirms its commitment to the production of wines that are an expression of Tuscan winemaking tradition and quality, offering wine lovers an authentic product, which tells the story and characteristics of one of the most suitable territories in the region.
