The Moscato Giallo from St. Michael Eppan represents an intriguing and sophisticated expression of this aromatic grape variety. Originating from the renowned region of South Tyrol in Italy, this wine displays distinctive characteristics that set it apart.

With a straw-yellow color and golden highlights, the Moscato Giallo from St. Michael Eppan introduces itself with an intensely aromatic bouquet. Notes of ripe peach, blossoming citrus trees, and nuances of rosemary create an inviting complexity. On the palate, the elegance of this wine is expressed with a vibrant freshness paired with a balanced sweetness, making it pleasantly drinkable.

The structure of this Moscato Giallo is enriched by its maturation in stainless steel tanks, which preserve the purity of the fruit and accentuate the varietal characteristics of the grape. The well-balanced acidity and the lingering aftertaste of exotic aromas make it an excellent companion for flavorful dishes such as saffron risotto or aromatic fish dishes.

Perfect to serve chilled, the Moscato Giallo from St. Michael Eppan stands out not only as an aperitif but also as an accompaniment for a variety of occasions, reflecting a masterful balance between South Tyrolean wine tradition and innovation.

This expression of Moscato Giallo is, without a doubt, a testament to St. Michael Eppan's skill in interpreting the local terroir in a modern key, offering a wine that surprises and delights the palate.

Winery history
Founded as a cooperative winery in 1907, St. Michael‑Eppan has grown to unite hundreds of wine‑growing families and to attain national and international recognition. Since the late 1970s the role of Hans Terzer has helped shift the focus from mass production to quality wines; in recent years the winery has developed flagship ranges such as Appius and The Wine Collection.
