The Muller Thurgau from St. Michael Eppan represents a distinctive expression of this aromatic varietal, cultivated in the lush valleys of Alto Adige. This white wine, born from a mythical fusion of the Riesling and Madeleine Royale grape varieties, stands out for its fresh and lively character, which accurately reflects the cool breezes and mountainous terrain from which it originates.

With a color reminiscent of delicate straw yellow with greenish reflections, the Muller Thurgau from St. Michael Eppan opens on the nose with an intense bouquet, promising notes of citrus, white-fleshed fruits such as peaches and pears, and a gentle floral touch reminiscent of chamomile and jasmine. Nuances of fresh herbs add complexity to the overall aroma.

On the palate, this wine shows an impeccable balance between refreshing acidity and a pleasantly smooth softness. The flavors are a direct reflection of the aromas, with a faint mineral presence that makes the sip particularly enjoyable. Its light yet persuasive structure makes it a versatile companion for a variety of dishes, making it ideal for pairing with light appetizers, fish-based dishes or seafood, and fresh cheeses.

Produced with a focus on sustainability, the St. Michael Eppan winery is committed to preserving the authenticity of the terroir, ensuring that each bottle expresses the true essence of the region. The Muller Thurgau is a bright example of how tradition and innovation can coexist harmoniously, providing connoisseurs with a tasting experience that is both authentically local and universally appreciable.

Winery history
Founded as a cooperative winery in 1907, St. Michael‑Eppan has grown to unite hundreds of wine‑growing families and to attain national and international recognition.
