The long aging, probably subjected to careful maturation in wooden barrels, gives the wine a refined bouquet, with notes of withered rose, ripe cherry, sweet spices, and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, it reveals itself as enveloping, with velvety tannins and a perfect balance between freshness and warmth, typical of great Nebbiolo. The Jeroboam version, with its larger quantity, is perfect for moments of sharing.
Ideal with typical Piedmontese dishes such as braised beef in Barolo or aged cheeses, this Gattinara DOCG is a sensory journey into the heart of Alpine wine tradition.
