The Nebbiolo Rosso Gattinara DOCG Riserva 2008 by Torraccia embodies the elegance and longevity of the land that produces it, located in the highlands of Piedmont. Produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, a variety that favors cool climates and altitudes, this magnum stands out for its olfactory complexity and enveloping structure.

The extended aging gives the wine deep notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and a delicate bouquet of withered rose, harmoniously blending with earthy and mineral hints typical of Gattinara. The tannin, velvety yet well-present, provides the palate with an elegant and persistent texture, supported by a lively acidity that balances the richness of the sensations.

Perfect with red meats, braised dishes, and aged cheeses, this Nebbiolo Riserva by Torraccia is a sublime example of how the territory and tradition can offer a refined and long-lived bottle, to be treasured and shared on special occasions.

Winery history
The company's origins date back to the 1950s, when Pierino Piantavigna planted the first vineyards; it was officially established in 1997 by Alessandro Francoli. Over time ownership and management have evolved to include local family collaborations and an expansion of vineyards and production, while maintaining a focus on the viticultural traditions of the Colline Novaresi.
