This Nebbiolo Rosso Gattinara DOCG Riserva 2016 in Magnum format from Torraccia offers a typical yet restrained profile, expressing the Nebbiolo grape within the named appellation. In the glass it shows a garnet color; the nose reveals notes of ripe red berries, rose petal, a hint of undergrowth and discreet spice. The aromatic approach is composed and invites a focused tasting.

On the palate it displays present tannins and good acidity that support a compact structure; the finish is persistent but not excessive. The Magnum format can offer pleasure after some oxygen exposure: decanting is recommended to harmonize the elements. Serving temperature suggested around 16–18 °C. The Magnum is also a striking choice for the table on convivial occasions. Pairs with braised red meats, medium-bodied roasts and aged cheeses; ideal for those seeking a Nebbiolo of character with controlled balance.

Winery history
Terroir and vineyards
Awards and recognitions
