The Nebbiolo Rosso Ghemme DOCG 2020 from Torraccia offers a measured, coherent expression of the grape and the area. In the glass it shows a garnet color with nuances that indicate an even vintage; on the nose there are scents of ripe red fruit, rose petals and light spice, accompanied by a slightly earthy background that adds depth. The olfactory approach is restrained and inviting, encouraging the progressive discovery of the aromatic layers, delicately.

On the palate it displays a composed structure: tannins present but well integrated, lively acidity and a body that supports the fruit without overpowering it. The finish is clean and persistent, suitable both for drinking in the coming years and for moderate cellar ageing for those who prefer to further develop its nuances. It pairs gracefully with grilled red meats, lighter game dishes and aged cheeses; serve at around 16–18 °C and decant briefly if you wish to open the aromatic profile.

Winery history
The company's origins date back to the 1950s, when Pierino Piantavigna planted the first vineyards; it was officially established in 1997 by Alessandro Francoli. Over time ownership and management have evolved to include local family collaborations and an expansion of vineyards and production, while maintaining a focus on the viticultural traditions of the Colline Novaresi.
Production philosophy
Showcasing the territory through careful, low-impact viticulture, prioritizing native grape varieties and practices that bring out the character of the soil and climate. The approach combines respect for local tradition with modern winemaking techniques to produce wines with long aging potential.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in Colline Novaresi and the Gattinara area, at the foot of Monte Rosa: morainic-alluvial soils, porphyry and glacial sands with marked temperature variations that contribute to the freshness and longevity of the wines.
