The Nebbiolo Rosso Ghemme DOCG 2017 from Torraccia, offered in magnum format, presents a restrained and measured expression of the variety. On the nose one may find hints of ripe red fruit, traces of dried flowers and light spice notes; overall it leans toward a balanced profile, with noticeable tannins and a freshness that supports the palate. The Ghemme DOCG designation and the 2017 vintage are the only verified references provided by the producer, so any sensory assessment should be considered indicative.

In magnum this wine suits shared occasions and may gain harmony over time. It is recommended to serve it at a moderate temperature and pair it with simple traditional dishes, red meats or aged cheeses, keeping in mind that it best shows its qualities in uncluttered pairings. When purchasing, consider the format and stated vintage; for more technical details consult the producer's sheet or contact the retailer.

Winery history
The company's origins date back to the 1950s, when Pierino Piantavigna planted the first vineyards; it was officially established in 1997 by Alessandro Francoli. Over time ownership and management have evolved to include local family collaborations and an expansion of vineyards and production, while maintaining a focus on the viticultural traditions of the Colline Novaresi.
Production philosophy
Showcasing the territory through careful, low-impact viticulture, prioritizing native grape varieties and practices that bring out the character of the soil and climate. The approach combines respect for local tradition with modern winemaking techniques to produce wines with long aging potential.
