In the heart of the historic Ghemme area, among the gentle hills of Piedmont, the Nebbiolo Rosso Ghemme DOCG Vigna Pelizzane 2015 by Torraccia expresses all the elegance and complexity of the Nebbiolo grape variety. This wine is made from carefully selected grapes and a traditional vinification that preserves its structure and territorial identity.

The long aging, partly in wooden barrels and partly in the bottle, offers a broad and multifaceted bouquet where notes of withered rose, ripe cherry, sweet spices, and a hint of licorice emerge, supported by evident freshness and velvety but firm tannins. The aromatic persistence accompanies every sip, inviting reflection on this territory rich in winemaking history.

It pairs well with red meats, flavorful roasts, and aged cheeses, celebrating a rich sensory experience all from Piedmont.

Winery history
The company's origins date back to the 1950s, when Pierino Piantavigna planted the first vineyards; it was officially established in 1997 by Alessandro Francoli. Over time ownership and management have evolved to include local family collaborations and an expansion of vineyards and production, while maintaining a focus on the viticultural traditions of the Colline Novaresi.
