Nerello Mascalese IGP - Cantina Colosi is born on the volcanic slopes of Etna, in the heart of Sicily, a unique territory that imparts to the grape variety an unmistakable minerality and freshness. This red is obtained from Nerello Mascalese grapes, an indigenous variety known for its elegance and fine structure. The winemaking takes place with attention to detail, often with fermentations in steel to preserve the integrity of the aromas and a subsequent aging that enhances its complexity without overwhelming the natural softness.

In the glass it presents a bright ruby red color, accompanied by aromas of red fruits, floral notes, and a delicate hint of spices and volcanic ash, typical characteristics of the terroir. The palate is harmonious, with smooth tannins and a pleasant freshness that invites further sips. Ideal paired with white and red meats, rustic soups, and aged cheeses, it represents an excellence of Etnean winemaking.
