The Nero d'Avola DOC Ananke from Federico Curtaz's winery represents a pure and eloquent expression of one of Sicily's most iconic grape varieties. This red wine is made from carefully selected grapes in the sunny lands of the island, capturing the essence of the local terroir in every sip.

With a deep ruby red color, the Nero d'Avola DOC Ananke reveals intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as blackberry and cherry, enriched by spicy nuances of black pepper and a subtle hint of tobacco and chocolate, resulting from wood maturation. On the palate, the wine is vigorous and well-structured, with robust yet elegant tannins that promise excellent aging potential. The acidity is well-balanced, making this wine extremely harmonious and pleasant on the palate.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in barriques, which adds complexity to the wine without overshadowing the primary characteristics of the grape. This winemaking process, carefully monitored by renowned winemaker Federico Curtaz, ensures a high-quality product that reflects both the passion and tradition of Sicilian wine-making.

The Nero d'Avola DOC Ananke is ideal for pairing with hearty dishes such as grilled red meats, roasts, and aged cheeses, as well as meals featuring game and rich sauces. It offers an excellent tasting experience that elevates as the flavors develop in the mouth, recommended for all lovers of characterful Sicilian wines.
