With a bright golden color, the Penderyn Madeira has complex and seductive aromas on the nose. There are distinct scents of dried fruit, particularly raisins and dates, mixed with hints of honey and a touch of vanilla. On this base, light notes of sweet spices, such as cinnamon and cloves, are grafted, adding depth and complexity.
On the palate, this whisky is smooth yet structured. The sweetness of honey and ripe fruit is beautifully balanced with the freshness of citrus and subtle spice. The finish is long and warm, with a return of the spicy notes that linger and invite another sip.
The Penderyn Madeira - 70cl Cased is more than just a whisky; it is a celebration of artisanal savoir-faire. Perfect to enjoy neat or with a small addition of water to further enhance its aromas and flavors.
Ideal for lovers of characterful whisky or for those looking for a special gift, this cased bottle adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to any collection of spirits. A true gem in the world of spirits, capable of satisfying the most demanding palates.

Distillation
Use of the 'Faraday' still (single-pot with integrated column) to obtain high-purity new-make (~92% ABV) in a single pass; use of traditional pot stills (70–73% ABV new-make) and lantern stills for stylistic variation.
Ageing
Maturation predominantly in ex-bourbon casks for the main ageing phase and finishes in Madeira casks; sherry, port and other cask types are also used for specific expressions and single cask releases.
