The "Piane di Maggio Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC" is a representative example of the excellent wines produced by Agriverde, a renowned Abruzzese winery that embodies the harmony between respect for nature and technological innovation. This red wine is the result of a careful selection of Montepulciano grapes, cultivated according to the principles of organic farming, highlighting the winery's commitment to a reduced environmental impact.

Thanks to the favorable climate of the Abruzzo region, with its specific temperature fluctuations that enhance grape maturation, the Piane di Maggio Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC presents a robust and well-balanced structure. Visually, its intense ruby red color is immediately noticeable, with violet reflections that tend to appear with aging.

On the nose, it offers a rich and persistent aromatic bouquet, where notes of ripe red fruits like cherry and plum stand out, along with spicy and slightly vanilla nuances derived from a brief period of aging in wood. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with good structure and soft yet notable tannins that harmoniously combine with a slight acidity, typical of this variety. The finish is long and pleasantly aromatic.

This Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC pairs perfectly with hearty dishes such as meat roasts, game-based dishes, and aged cheeses. It is also an excellent companion for convivial evenings or as a contemplative wine. We recommend serving it at a temperature of around 18°C to enhance all its qualities.

In summary, Piane di Maggio by Agriverde is not just a wine, but a true testament to the winemaking tradition of Abruzzo, produced with close attention to sustainability and quality.
