The Pinot Blanc Rosenberg from Domaine Barmès-Buecher is an excellent example of this variety's ability to adapt superbly to the Alsatian terroir. Situated on the sunny slopes of Rosenberg, this wine is distinguished by its freshness and elegant structure.

On the nose, the Pinot Blanc Rosenberg immediately reveals its complexity. Notes of green apple, pear, and a light floral touch intertwine with more mineral nuances that reflect the region's limestone soil. On the palate, the first impression is of a lively acidity leading to a medium-full palate, where the purity of the fruit is expressed with citrus notes and a hint of almond.

This wine is characterized by its balance and long aromatic persistence, leaving a pleasantly fresh and clean aftertaste. It is an ideal accompaniment for light fish dishes, seafood, or as an aperitif. Its versatility makes it a refined choice for any occasion. A true jewel from Domaine Barmès-Buecher that continues to amaze with its quality and integrity.

Winery history
The estate was established by the union of the Barmès and Buecher families; its creation is linked to the founders’ marriage, and the family structure has continued through subsequent generations. Since the late 1990s the estate undertook conversion to biodynamic viticulture, a process completed with official certification in the early 2000s. Today the family’s children are actively involved in managing the vineyard and cellar.
Production philosophy
They practice biodynamic viticulture with attention to natural rhythms and the soil: manual work, biodynamic preparations, hedgerows and biodiversity in the vineyard. In the cellar a measured approach is preferred to allow the character of the terroir and the vintage to emerge clearly in the bottles. They are a member of Biodyvin and collaborate with initiatives that promote the expression of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
The domaine is located in Wettolsheim, a few kilometres west/southwest of Colmar and near Eguisheim, on the foothills of the Vosges. The vineyard comprises several lieux-dits and parcels on varied soils and produces wines linked to specific terroirs, including Grand Crus such as Hengst, Steingrubler and Pfersigberg; parcels include Rosenberg, Leimental and Clos Sand.
