The Pinot Grigio DOC from Dorigati is an impeccable choice for those who love high-quality white wines. Produced in the heart of the Trentino region, this label represents one of the excellences of the Dorigati winery, known for its attention to detail and respect for local winemaking traditions.

With a delicate straw-yellow color, the Pinot Grigio DOC from Dorigati presents a symphony of fruity and floral aromas to the nose. Notes of pear, apple, and acacia flowers can be appreciated, harmoniously blending into a refined and inviting bouquet. On the palate, the wine is balanced, with a vibrant freshness that supports the olfactory sensations and introduces a slight minerality typical of the soils of this area. Its well-balanced acidity makes it particularly suitable to accompany light dishes such as seafood starters, fish-based dishes, and delicate poultry.

The winemaking process follows traditional methods, with controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the varietal characteristics and the purity of the fruit. Attention to sustainability is another fundamental pillar of Dorigati's philosophy, which is committed to maintaining production systems that respect the environment and enhance the territory.

Opting for the Pinot Grigio DOC from Dorigati means choosing a wine that expresses the Trentino territory with elegance and finesse, suitable for those seeking an authentically Italian tasting experience.

Winery history
The Dorigati family has been active in Mezzocorona for generations: the company traces its origins to 1858 and developed as a family-run business dedicated to viticulture in the Piana Rotaliana. The current premises at Via Dante 5 date back to the early 20th century, with later extensions and a winery renovation completed in 1998. In the 1980s the winery also launched the Methius project, a Trento DOC Metodo Classico reserve.
Production philosophy
The winery focuses on territorial identity and quality: traditional viticultural practices, cluster selection and winemaking designed to bring out the character of the individual vineyards of the Piana Rotaliana and the pedemontane hills. It produces both 'classic' wines tied to the territory and Metodo Classico sparkling wines, with attention to artisanal process management.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are concentrated in the Piana Rotaliana and on the foothill slopes of Mezzocorona, with some plots associated with specific crus, such as the 'Bagolari' vineyard. Some Traditional Method cuvées come from hilly areas such as Faedo and Pressano; the soils include fluvial and glacial deposits typical of the area.
