The Pinot Grigio Ramato IGT from Zeni Winery is a vinous excellence that has its roots in the Italian winemaking tradition, specifically in the enchanting valleys of Veneto. This wine has a distinctive feature: its "ramato" color, a coppery pink hue that comes from a brief contact of the skins with the must during vinification.

In the glass, the Pinot Grigio Ramato displays brilliant reflections and a color palette reminiscent of autumn sunsets. On the nose, it is a true bouquet of sensations: floral notes of rose and geranium blend with delicate hints of red fruits like strawberry and raspberry, along with a slight touch of pomegranate. A veil of sweet spices completes the aroma, offering an intriguing and inviting complexity.

On the palate, the wine is balanced with a pleasant acidity that enhances its freshness. The structure is soft yet persistent, with a slight tannicity that underscores its elegance. The flavors of fresh red fruit harmoniously mix with a subtle minerality, typical of the volcanic soil of the region.

This Ramato Pinot Grigio by Zeni is ideal as an aperitif or paired with light starters, fish dishes, and white meats. Its characteristics also make it an excellent companion for Asian cuisine, thanks to its ability to balance even quite spicy flavors.

A wine that can be enjoyed young to savor its freshness but can also undergo a brief aging, during which it further develops its aromatic complexity. A distinctive choice for those who love elegant and personality-rich wines.

Production and management have been passed down through several generations of the family, and over the years the winery expanded its operations to include traditional-method sparkling wines and an artisan distillery. In the 2000s the winery began a shift toward more natural practices and a gradual conversion to organic viticulture.
