Pinot Gris Sélection de Grains Nobles “S” 2007 - Famille Hugel is a oenological jewel from Alsace, a legendary region known for producing sweet wines of extraordinary elegance. Made from dried grapes affected by botrytis cinerea, this wine represents the pinnacle of complexity and aromatic concentration typical of the Alsace designation.

In the glass, it presents an intense golden color, a prelude to a rich and deep bouquet. Notes of dried apricot, multifloral honey, ginger, and sweet spices speak of skillful aging and a unique terroir, where the cool climate and limestone soil contribute to a refined balance between sweetness and freshness. The palate entry is enveloping, with a velvety texture and lively acidity that gives momentum and persistence, finishing with a long mineral trail.

Perfect as a contemplative wine, it harmoniously pairs with foie gras, blue cheeses, or desserts made with dried fruits and spices. The Sélection de Grains Nobles “S” 2007 is a superb example of how Pinot Gris can nobly express the uniqueness of the Alsatian terroir, offering intense and lasting emotions.
