The Pinot Nero Alto Adige DOC "Turmhof" by Tiefenbrunner is a wine that expresses the grape's regional character with restraint. Visually it shows a transparent, medium-intensity ruby; on the nose it opens with scents of fresh red fruit, floral hints and subtle notes of undergrowth and gentle spice. The expression is measured, without excess, favouring elegance over power.

On the palate it confirms a balanced profile: lively acidity, fine tannins and a saline thread that supports flavour without being intrusive. Persistence is moderate, leaving fruity memories along with a light earthy note. It is best served slightly chilled, around 14–16 °C, and pairs well with white meats, cured meats, mushroom-based dishes and semi-soft cheeses. The drinking experience remains fresh and smooth. Suitable for immediate enjoyment, it can also tolerate short-term cellaring for those preferring a rounder texture.
