The Pinot Noir Riserva Alto Adige DOC "Matan" in Magnum format by Pfitscher is a wine that enhances the essence and complexity of Pinot Noir, interpreted through the unique terroir of Alto Adige, one of the most famous Italian regions for the production of this elegant and multifaceted vine. The choice of the Magnum format not only makes "Matan" an ideal option for special occasions, but also contributes to a more gradual and harmonious aging of the wine, allowing a better evolution of its aromas and flavors over time.

The Pfitscher winery, located in this mountainous region of northern Italy, is known for its innovative and sustainable approach to viticulture, as well as its passion and attention to detail in producing high-quality wines. The "Matan" represents the pinnacle of their Pinot Noir production, a wine that is made only in the best years, from carefully selected grapes from the best estate vineyards.

The vinification of Pinot Noir "Matan" follows a philosophy that aims to enhance the purity and identity of the grape variety, with delicate fermentation followed by aging in French oak barriques. This process not only adds complexity and depth to the wine, but also refines its structure, making it capable of evolving beautifully over the years.

Visually, the "Matan" Magnum presents itself with an intense and bright ruby red color. On the nose, the bouquet is rich and complex, offering a range of aromas ranging from ripe red fruits, such as cherries and strawberries, to more evolved notes of undergrowth, sweet spices and a delicate touch of vanilla and chocolate, the result of elegant refinement Wood.

In the mouth, the wine demonstrates extraordinary elegance and depth, with silky, well-integrated tannins contributing to a velvety texture. The acidity is well calibrated, ensuring freshness and long aging potential. The red fruit flavors intertwine harmoniously with the earthy and spicy nuances, leading to a long and persistent finish, which leaves a pleasant sensation of complexity and balance.

Ideal to accompany refined dishes of red meat, game and mature cheeses, Pfitscher's Pinot Noir Riserva "Matan" Magnum is also an excellent meditation wine, which invites you to discover its many aromatic and gustatory facets, reflecting the high expression of the Pinot Noir in Alto Adige and the excellence of the Pfitscher winery.
