The Pinot Noir Südtirol Alto Adige DOC "Fuxleiten" by Pfitscher is an emblematic example of how the terroir of Alto Adige, with its unique climate and soils rich in minerals, can enhance Pinot Noir, a vine that requires particular attention but which in Cambio offers wines of extraordinary elegance and complexity. The Pfitscher winery, located in this renowned wine region of northern Italy, is committed to producing wines that reflect the essence of the territory, combining sustainable viticulture techniques with careful winemaking, to best express the potential of each individual vineyard.

"Fuxleiten", the name of the vineyard from which the grapes for this Pinot Noir come, is located in a particularly suitable area, where the exposure and altitude favor a slow and uniform maturation of the grapes, a crucial aspect for developing the complete range of aromas and flavors that characterize this noble vine. Environmentally friendly agricultural practices and careful vineyard management ensure the health and quality of the grapes, which are harvested manually to ensure their integrity all the way to the cellar.

The vinification of Pinot Noir "Fuxleiten" aims to preserve the varietal characteristics and the expression of the terroir, with fermentation in stainless steel or wooden containers, depending on the vintage and the specific characteristics of the grapes. The refinement in French oak barriques for a variable period allows the wine to acquire balance, harmony and a subtle aromatic complexity, enriching its profile without overpowering the natural freshness and fruitfulness of the Pinot Noir.

At sight, the "Fuxleiten" presents itself with a delicate ruby red color, typical of Pinot Noir, but with a depth that anticipates the olfactory and gustatory complexity. On the nose, the wine expresses a rich and inviting bouquet, with notes of cherries, raspberries and strawberries, enriched by floral nuances, sweet spices and a light touch of undergrowth, which testify to the elegant integration between fruit and wood.

In the mouth, the Pinot Noir "Fuxleiten" offers a perfect balance between acidity and soft tannins, with a medium body that underlines its elegance. The flavors of fresh red fruit blend with earthy and spicy notes, leading to a long and persistent finish, which leaves a pleasant sensation of complexity and harmony.

Ideal in combination with white meat dishes, not too elaborate red meats, mushroom-based dishes and medium-aged cheeses, Pfitscher's Pinot Noir "Fuxleiten" is a wine that celebrates the richness and diversity of the Alto Adige terroir, offering a tasting experience that combines aromatic intensity, finesse and drinkability.
