Domaine Chanson's Pommard is an emblematic red wine from Burgundy, France, coming from the eponymous Pommard appellation, known for its powerful and structured wines, deeply rooted in the unique terroir of this part of the Côte de Beaune. Domaine Chanson, a historic winery with roots dating back to 1750, is renowned for its dedication to producing wines that faithfully express the distinctive characteristics of individual Burgundian climats, adopting sustainable viticultural practices to preserve the integrity of the soil and environment.

Pommard wines are known for their robustness and their ability to age, characteristics that reflect the composition of the iron-rich soils and the favorable geographical position. Pinot Noir, the Burgundy grape par excellence, finds in Pommard the ideal conditions to develop a complex aromatic profile and a solid tannic structure, which translate into wines of great expressiveness and longevity.

Domaine Chanson's Pommard is the result of a careful selection of the best Pinot Noir grapes, hand-picked and vinified with the aim of respecting the intrinsic qualities of the vine and terroir. Fermentation takes place in open vats to allow optimal extraction of colors and aromas, followed by refinement in French oak barriques, which helps to round the wine and add complexity to its bouquet without overpowering the varietal notes.

Visually, Domaine Chanson's Pommard presents itself with an intense ruby red color, a sign of its concentration. On the nose, the wine offers a rich range of aromas, with dominant notes of red and black fruits, such as cherries, blackberries and plums, enriched by nuances of spices, leather and a light mineral vein, which reflect the typical elegance and depth of Pommard wines.

In the mouth, the wine demonstrates a robust structure, supported by vigorous but finely woven tannins, which blend harmoniously with lively acidity, ensuring balance and remarkable aging potential. The ripe fruit flavors are integrated with earthy and spicy notes, leading to a long and persistent finish, which leaves a pleasant sensation of complexity and finesse.

Ideal in combination with dishes rich in meat, such as braised meats, stews and game, Domaine Chanson's Pommard is also an excellent choice to accompany mature cheeses, offering a tasting experience that celebrates the intensity and richness of Pinot Noir in a of its most authoritative and respected expressions of Burgundy.
