Heracles from Masseria Surani is a Primitivo Manduria DOC with an intense, concentrated profile. The colour is deep ruby with violet hues. On the nose it opens with impressions of ripe red fruit, plum and cherry, accompanied by notes of sweet spices, black pepper and light balsamic hints; complexity and persistence characterise the bouquet, with a sense of warmth and concentration that reflects the ripeness of the fruit.

On the palate it shows full body, present but balanced tannins and a saline thread that supports the fruit. The finish returns fruity echoes and a pleasant dryness; the structure makes it suitable with red meats, stews and aged cheeses, or with dishes of decided character. Serving temperature around 16–18 °C and a short decanting can enhance its aromas. It suits convivial occasions and flavourful Mediterranean dishes, such as robust sauces and grilled dishes, and pairs with hard cheeses or blue cheeses in moderation. The drinking experience is enveloping without excess, making it versatile for both an informal dinner and a more structured meal.
