The Refosco IGP from Vigna del Lauro is an authentic expression of the Friulian territory, known for the production of characterful red wines. This wine stands out for its intense ruby color which foreshadows a rich and well-balanced structure.

On the nose, the Refosco reveals intriguing notes of ripe forest fruits and hints of spices, typical of this variety. The nuances of blueberry and black currant, enriched by a slight hint of vanilla and licorice, make it complex and inviting. On the palate, the attack is vigorous yet harmonious, with soft tannins that perfectly interweave with the wine's natural acidity.

The fermentation of the Refosco takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fruity freshness, followed by aging in wooden barrels that helps to soften the initial robustness, giving the wine a pleasant roundness.

This wine is ideal to accompany hearty dishes from the Friulian regional cuisine, such as baked pork shank or game-based dishes. It is also an excellent choice to pair with aged cheeses or dishes rich in aromatic herbs.

With its distinctive character and complexity, the Refosco IGP from Vigna del Lauro celebrates the uniqueness of its territory, offering a sensory experience deeply rooted in the Friulian wine tradition.
