The Rhum Nine Leaves 2017 Ex-Russian Virgin Oak Batch is a Japanese distillate with unique elegance, produced with sophisticated mastery on the island of Kyushu. Its base is made from high-quality molasses, carefully fermented and distilled to preserve the distinctive character of the Japanese terroir. The aging takes place in barrels of virgin oak from Russia, an element that imparts complexity and a enveloping tannic structure, rare in traditional rums.

In the glass, it shows intense amber tones, while on the nose it reveals rich aromas of vanilla, spicy notes, and a delicate smoky nuance given by the fine wood. The palate is harmonious, smooth, and long, with hints of dried fruit, caramel, and a persistent finish that invites a contemplative tasting. Ideal to be enjoyed neat or accompanied by dark chocolate-based desserts, this rum expresses a perfect balance between tradition and innovation.
