The Riesling Schoelhammer 2012 of Famille Hugel comes from the famous Alsace, a region renowned for producing white wines of great elegance and finesse. This Riesling best expresses the character of the grape variety from which it takes its name, grown on limestone and clay soils that give the wine extraordinary minerality and freshness.

After the harvest, the grapes are carefully selected and vinified using traditional methods, followed by prolonged aging on the lees that adds complexity and softness to the aromatic profile. On the nose, it opens with a refined bouquet of citrus, white flowers, and flint notes, while on the palate it stands out for its balanced structure, vibrant acidity, and a persistent finish that recalls sweet spices and a subtle mineral touch.

Perfect to accompany fish dishes, shellfish, or soft cheeses, the Riesling Schoelhammer 2012 of Famille Hugel is a sublime example of how Alsatian tradition knows how to maximize the expression of the Riesling grape variety. A wine that enchants with elegance and longevity.
