Riserva 18. 46 by Mazzetti presents itself as a distillate of great presence, with a warm and enveloping character. On the nose it reveals a balanced combination of soft and decisive notes, with hints of ripe fruit and sweet spices, supported by a dry underpinning that streamlines the profile. On the palate it is round but vibrant, with good clarity and a texture that supports the alcoholic warmth without being excessive; the finish is persistent and leaves a pleasantly dry aftertaste. The sensation is one of balance between structure and finesse, with a substance that remains clear without losing warmth. Its velvety consistency makes it approachable yet full of character, capable of evolving in the glass.

Perfect to enjoy in small sips with company, it works well as the conclusion of a meal or as a companion for after-dinner reflection: dark chocolate, dry pastries or aged cheeses find a good balance with its structure. The boxed packaging also makes it an elegant gift suitable for moments of celebration. I recommend serving it at room temperature or slightly chilled to appreciate its complexity. A large stemmed glass enhances the aromas and allows you to catch its nuances.
