The "Rosso Bologna DOC - Camerlò" produced by Tenuta Santa Croce represents an authentic and captivating expression of the Bolognese wine territory. This red wine is distinguished by its varietal composition typical of the appellation, often being a blend of grapes like Barbera and Merlot, known for its harmonious taste and balanced structure.

On the nose, "Camerlò" offers a complex bouquet where notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry intertwine with hints of spices and light nuances of vanilla and leather, resulting from maturation in wood. The olfactory phase invites you to proceed to tasting, promising a rich sensory experience.

On the palate, it presents a decisive attack, well-structured yet simultaneously soft and enveloping. The acidity is well-balanced and harmonizes with mature tannins, giving the wine a pleasant drinkability. The finish is persistent and leaves a pleasant sensation of cleanliness on the palate, with an aftertaste that recalls spices and red fruits.

Ideal to pair with red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, the "Rosso Bologna DOC - Camerlò" from Tenuta Santa Croce is a wine that can elegantly accompany a wide range of dishes, making every meal a special occasion. It is also an excellent candidate for aging, capable of developing further aromatic nuances with a few years of rest in the cellar.

This wine not only represents the enological tradition of the Bologna region but is also an example of how ancient techniques can be interpreted in a modern key to produce wines of character and depth.
