On the nose, it opens with herbal and floral notes, enriched by spicy and slightly fruity hints, the result of aging in French oak barrels that soften the profile while maintaining its original identity. On the palate, the structure is firm, supported by a fresh acidity and complex flavors that evoke sugarcane, citrus, vanilla, and a touch of toasted wood. The persistence is long and enveloping, inviting a second sip.

Distillation
Combined use of rectifying columns (main C20 column), the historic Savalle copper column for selected batches and pot stills for certain expressions; fermentations can be short for some white agricoles or very long for the Grand Arôme.
Ageing
Ageing in wooden barrels within local tropical chais; Savanna employs different maturation approaches, including use of ex-distillate casks and cooperages of various types, and maintains some maturation cellars close to the ocean that influence the profile of the rhums vieux.
