The Sangiovese di Romagna DOC "Modigliana Papesse" from Villa Papiano is an organic red wine that presents the grape variety with clarity and straightforwardness. Visually it shows a bright ruby color; on the nose it opens with aromas of cherry and red fruits, with light floral notes and herbaceous hints. On the palate it maintains a balance between freshness and structure: the acidity is lively, the tannins are soft and contribute to a smooth, pleasant drinking experience without excess. The overall tone is frank and immediate, intended for everyday use but with a recognizable character of the production area.

It pairs naturally with Italian dishes such as pasta with tomato sauce, legume soups, cured meats and medium-aged cheeses; it also works well with grilled vegetables and flavorful white meats. It is best served around 16–18 °C and can be allowed to breathe for a few minutes before serving. Recommended for those seeking an organic red with an honest profile, suitable for informal meals and immediate consumption.
