Pairing Red meats, cured meats, aged cheeses
In the glass it shows a bright ruby that invites tasting; on the nose ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum emerge, with forest-floor nuances and a light herbal hint. The palate is medium-bodied, with good acidic tension that supports the substance and measured tannins that define the structure without weighing it down. The feel is smooth and savory, with a persistence that recalls the fruit and a slight bitter note on the finish that leaves the palate clean.

It pairs well with everyday and more gastronomic dishes: cured meats, pasta with flavorful ragù, roasted white meats and medium-aged cheeses all find a good balance with this Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore DOC. Serve at around 16–18°C; a short decant or opening it an hour before serving helps soften the tannins if desired. Terre Cevico offers a straightforward, versatile wine—ideal for informal dinners but capable of standing up to more structured courses.

Winery history
Born as a network of Romagna winegrowers' cooperatives, Terre Cevico has been operating since 1963 and over time has evolved into an integrated cooperative group, bringing together technical, commercial and logistical services for the supply chain. Since 2017 the name "Terre Cevico" reflects the mosaic of territories and wineries that make up the group, with a growing presence in national and international markets.
Production philosophy
Cooperative values, environmental sustainability, and ethical and economic responsibility guide the cooperative's activities: the manifesto "Tutto è possibile" sums up the commitment to more sustainable agricultural and production practices, the promotion of indigenous grape varieties, and support for its community of winegrower members.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards and production activities are concentrated in Emilia-Romagna: along the Romagna hill ridge, through Cesena, Forlì and Faenza, to the sandy soils of the Parco del Delta del Po and the Ravenna plain. The group operates several winemaking and bottling facilities and collection centers distributed across the area.
