The Bianco Bologna DOC - Selezione 051 from La Riva winery offers a unique experience for lovers of quality white wines. This wine presents itself with a bright straw-yellow color, with hints shifting towards fresh green, symbolizing the vitality and freshness that the glass promises.

On the nose, Bianco Bologna DOC - Selezione 051 displays a very developed and complex aromatic bouquet. The initial notes that strike are those of white-fleshed fruits such as peach and pear, followed by nuances of white flowers that impart a refined delicacy to the olfactory profile. A slight hint of aromatic herbs completes the profile, adding an additional layer of complexity.

On the palate, it is immediately balanced and harmonious. The attack is fresh and lively, thanks to a good acidity that perfectly integrates with the structure of the wine. The medium body and smoothness are in perfect balance with the freshness, making it a pleasantly drinkable wine. It maintains a very satisfying taste persistence, leaving on the palate memories of fresh fruit and floral suggestions.

Coming from the Bolognese hills, the specific terroir gives the wine unique characteristics, the result of an ideal climate and careful, nature-respecting viticultural techniques. Selezione 051 is produced following rigorous quality standards, starting from the careful selection of the grapes to the vinification, which uses both traditional and innovative methods to preserve the authentic aroma and taste of the grapes.

This wine is perfect for accompanying light appetizers, fish-based dishes and seafood, or simply to be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif. It is therefore an excellent option for those looking for a wine that combines tradition and modernity, offering a fresh and rewarding tasting experience.

Winery history
Tenuta La Riva was founded as a family project, driven by Alberto's passion and the tradition of several generations. The estate has grown steadily, focusing on bottle refermentation and the promotion of local grape varieties such as Pignoletto and Trebbiano Modenese, with the family involved in every stage from vineyard to cellar.
Production philosophy
The winery favors refermentation in bottle and a low-intervention winemaking approach: organic farming, low use of sulfites and techniques that respect the land and health. For sparkling wines they practice long periods of lees contact and perform disgorgements à la volée for low- or no-dosage wines.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate, located in the Colli Bolognesi at Castello di Serravalle, is surrounded by the characteristic calanchi of the Emilian Apennines and lies about half an hour from Bologna. It cultivates indigenous and international grape varieties suited to the hilly terrain.
