Rimapere's Sauvignon Blanc "Plot 101" is a refined example of how this grape variety can express unique characteristics when grown in the climatic conditions and specific terroir of New Zealand, in particular in the Marlborough region, renowned worldwide for the production of Sauvignon High quality blanc. The name Rimapere echoes the winery's heritage and philosophy, with a strong connection to the land and a commitment to sustainable practices that respect the environment.

“Plot 101” refers to a specific vineyard plot which, thanks to its location and soil composition, gives the wine a distinctive aromatic intensity and pronounced minerality. This attention to detail and grape selection is an integral part of Rimapere's qualitative approach towards viticulture and winemaking.

The production of Sauvignon Blanc "Plot 101" occurs through methods that emphasize the purity of the fruit and varietal freshness. The grapes are harvested manually at the optimal moment of ripeness to guarantee a perfect balance between acidity and sugars. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, to preserve the fruity characteristics and delicate aromatic notes typical of Sauvignon Blanc.

At sight, the wine has a lively straw yellow color, with green reflections that underline its freshness. On the nose, "Plot 101" unfolds a wide spectrum of aromas, with dominant notes of white pulp fruit, such as melon and peach, combined with nuances of citrus, cut grass and floral hints, which create a complex and inviting bouquet.

In the mouth, the wine is characterized by a notable freshness and liveliness, with a crunchy acidity that balances the aromatic richness and leads to a long and clean finish, with a pleasant persistence of mineral and citrus notes.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with a variety of dishes, from sushi and sashimi to fresh salads and seafood dishes, Rimapere's Sauvignon Blanc "Plot 101" is a testament to New Zealand's ability to produce Sauvignon Blanc wines among the most appreciated internationally, offering a tasting rich in nuances and pleasure.
