This elegant red wine represents the essence of the Pinot Noir grape variety, known for its ability to precisely reflect the specific terroir from which it originates. The 2022 vintage stands out for its balance between lively acidity and soft tannins, contributing to a rich and complex flavor profile.

On the nose, the Savigny Les Beaune 2022 offers delicate floral notes coupled with hints of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry. The oak aging is moderate, allowing the quality of the grape and the purity of the fruit to be appreciated without being overshadowed. On the palate, the wine is structured yet elegant, with a persistent freshness that invites another sip.

Perfect to pair with delicate meat dishes, such as pork tenderloin, or mushroom-based dishes, this wine will captivate lovers of subtle yet expressive reds. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C to enhance all its organoleptic qualities.

Country: Francia
Founded: 1945

Based in Meursault, at the heart of Burgundy's great white wine production. Vineyards located in several communes of the Côte de Beaune. The domaine's area is reported to be approximately 11 hectares. Strong specialization in Chardonnay with extended aging and the use of barrels for white wines. Family-run in its third generation
Winery history
The family's first parcels were reorganized by Raymond Javillier upon his return from the war; the family business then developed under his son Patrick, who took the reins in the 1970s. In subsequent years the estate expanded its vineyards, and today its management involves the third generation, with Marion and Pierre-Emmanuel active respectively in winemaking, sales and vineyard management.
Production philosophy
An approach focused on respect for the terroir and on reasoned viticulture. In the cellar the philosophy is one of moderate intervention: use of indigenous yeasts, careful vinification and separate aging by parcel, with extended lees aging for the whites and a measured use of oak.
Terroir and vineyards
The domaine is located in Meursault, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. Its parcels are situated across several communes and climats in the area, including Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses, with bottles covering village-level and Premier Cru appellations and references to Grand Cru.
