The Semel Pater Pinot Noir DOC in Magnum format, presented in an elegant case, is an exclusive offer from Maison Anselmet, which underlines the importance and prestige of this wine. The choice of the magnum format not only guarantees a better evolution of the wine over time but also makes this Pinot Noir a gift or collector's item particularly appreciated by wine lovers. The case, in addition to protecting the wine, enhances its value, making it ideal for special occasions or as a significant gift.

Wine Profile: This Pinot Noir, grown in the unique climatic conditions and terroir of the Aosta Valley, expresses the distinctive characteristics of the grape variety with elegance and intensity. The magnum format contributes to a slower and more harmonious maturation, allowing the wine to develop an even greater complexity and aromatic depth than the standard format.

On the nose, Semel Pater opens with a rich and enveloping bouquet, where red fruits, subtle spices and earthy notes blend in a perfect balance. The aging in wood is masterfully dosed to enrich the aromatic profile without overpowering the freshness and purity of the fruit.

In the mouth, the wine offers an elegant structure, with fine tannins and lively acidity that give dynamism and length to the sip. The sensation of balance and finesse is supported by an intense fruity expression and a persistent and aromatically rich finish.

Gastronomic Pairings: The versatility and elegance of Semel Pater Pinot Noir DOC make it suitable for a wide range of pairings, from delicate red meat to mushroom-based dishes, from refined fish dishes to medium-aged cheeses. Its presence at the table, especially on a special occasion that deserves the magnum format, promises to elevate the culinary experience, offering harmony and tasting pleasure.

The Semel Pater Pinot Noir DOC in boxed magnum format by Maison Anselmet is not only a wine of exceptional quality but also a symbol of conviviality and celebration of the most significant moments, enclosed in a case that testifies to the care and attention to detail . A true jewel of Aosta Valley wine production, which combines the art of viticulture with the passion for sharing.

Vineyards in the Aosta Valley on moraine terraces with adret exposures. Approximately 10 hectares under direct management, divided into numerous small parcels. A strong emphasis on indigenous mountain grape varieties alongside international varieties. Selection of white, red and rosé wines, including some limited-edition labels. Distribution through national operators; international recognition.
Winery history
Documented evidence of the Anselmet family's presence in the vineyards dates back to the 16th century; the shift toward organized winemaking took place in the late 1970s with Renato Anselmet, from whom the modern estate took shape and developed over subsequent generations.
Production philosophy
The estate favors high-altitude, mountain viticulture, with hand-tended vineyards, minimal agronomic interventions and the selection of grape varieties based on the pedoclimatic characteristics of each individual plot. In the cellar it seeks to express the terroir through targeted maturation techniques and differentiated productions, including limited editions.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are concentrated in the so-called Central Valley of the Aosta Valley, on morainic soils exposed on the left-hand side of the Dora Baltea, with parcels ranging from approximately 550 to over 900 metres above sea level and across an area stretching from Avise to Chambave. Viticulture is often terraced and requires intensive manual labour.
Awards and recognitions
The winery has received national and international recognition over the years; among the awards listed online are mentions and medals in competitions such as the Decanter World Wine Awards.
