On the nose it offers notes of green apple and citrus, delicate white flowers and hints of yeast, supported by a pleasant minerality; on the palate the sip is dry and taut, marked by a crisp acidity and a compact structure that provides body without weighing it down, finishing with a clean, saline persistence that invites another glass.

Winery history
Founded in the early 20th century, Kettmeir is a historic South Tyrolean winery rooted in Caldaro. Over the years the winery has evolved its production and commercial structure; company historical sources and group materials record the founding year as 1919 and indicate corporate changes that led to the current ownership structure cited in official documents.
Production philosophy
The winery aims to express the Alto Adige region through selections of indigenous and international grape varieties, maintaining stable collaborations with local producers. The approach combines respect for local tradition with techniques focused on innovation, with particular attention to the development of Traditional Method sparkling wines.
Terroir and vineyards
Kettmeir primarily operates in the Alto Adige / Oltradige area around Lake Caldaro and on the surrounding hills.
