Pairing Aperitifs, fish appetizers
Elegant and restrained, the Spumante 1919 Riserva Extra Brut Alto Adige DOC from Kettmeir shows a fine perlage that enlivens the glass. On the nose it offers notes of green apple and citrus, delicate white flowers and hints of yeast, supported by a pleasant minerality; on the palate the sip is dry and taut, marked by a crisp acidity and a compact structure that provides body without weighing it down, finishing with a clean, saline persistence that invites another glass.

Complete and measured in style, it is perfect both as a refined aperitif and paired with seafood dishes: raw seafood, shellfish and light fish enhance its freshness, while fresh cheeses or slightly savory preparations find a good balance with its sapidity. Serve well chilled in a tulip glass to appreciate the finesse of the perlage and the clarity of the aromatic profile; a versatile companion for informal occasions and convivial moments attentive to detail.
