Based in Sanluri, in the heart of the Marmilla. Company's declared estate size: approximately 90 hectares; vineyard area listed on the website: 40 hectares. Main grape varieties planted: Bovale, Cannonau, Vermentino, Nasco, Moscato, Chardonnay and Merlot. Catalog of approximately 10 labels. Sustainable approach: precision farming, a photovoltaic system, and protection of local wildlife.
Winery history
The winery was born from the Pilloni family's return to the land. The family's agricultural activity dates back to the 1950s with Ernesto Pilloni. The modern winemaking project was launched by Salvatore Pilloni, and today the estate is run by his children, Valeria, Roberta and Nicola.
Production philosophy
The company prioritizes land protection and sustainability: precision farming, circular resource management, the use of renewable energy, and attention to biodiversity and the training of local youth.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the Marmilla subregion, on the border with the Campidano Plain, on calcareous-clay soils that favour viticulture. The estate's breezy location helps to impart freshness and sapidity to the grapes.
