The Torrione Magnum from the Petrolo winery is a red wine of character, primarily made from Sangiovese grapes, reflecting the oenological excellence of Tuscany. The historic Petrolo estate, situated in the hills near Valdarno Superiore, is renowned for producing wines that best express the unique terroir of this area.

The Torrione stands out for its meticulous winemaking process. The grapes are hand-picked and selected, ensuring that only the best bunches are used. After fermentation, the wine matures for about 15 months in French oak barriques, which impart complexity and a subtle spicy note, perfectly integrated with the natural fruity characteristics of the Sangiovese.

To the eye, the Torrione Magnum presents an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it offers a rich and complex bouquet with aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherries and blackberries, hints of violet, tobacco, and slight touches of chocolate. On the palate, the wine is robust, with a well-balanced tannic structure and a remarkable aromatic persistence that leads to a long and satisfying finish.

Thanks to the Magnum format, this wine is ideal for aging and further developing its rich flavors. It is perfect for being served on special occasions, paired with intense dishes such as red meat roasts, game, or aged cheeses. The elegance and depth of the Torrione Magnum make it a true gem of Tuscan winemaking, celebrated by both connoisseurs and new wine enthusiasts.
