Toscana IGT Rosso I Coltri - Melini is a distinctive example of the variety and innovation that characterizes Tuscany's wine production, under the label of one of the most historic and respected wineries in the region, Melini. This IGT (Typical Geographical Indication) red wine represents Melini's ability to combine the Tuscan winemaking tradition with a contemporary approach to winemaking, offering a product that stands out for its quality and character.

"I Coltri", a term that evokes the tradition and culture of agricultural work in Tuscany, is produced using a selection of the best red grapes of the region, among which Sangiovese stands out, the symbolic vine of Tuscany, flanked by other varieties that contribute to creating a harmonious and complex blend.

Visually it shows up with an intense, brilliant and captivating ruby red colour. On the nose, the wine expresses a rich and complex bouquet, where the fruity notes of cherries, raspberries and plums intertwine with nuances of spices, aromatic herbs and a light touch of vanilla, the result of aging in wood which adds complexity without overpowering the freshness of the fruit.

On the palate, this wine is structured but extremely balanced, with soft tannins and a well-integrated acidity that gives liveliness and drinkability. The flavors of ripe red fruit blend with spicy and balsamic notes, leading to a long and satisfying finish, with a pleasant aromatic persistence.

Ideal as a wine for the whole meal, Toscana IGT Rosso I Coltri by Melini is particularly suitable for accompanying Tuscan and international cuisine, from red meats to mature cheeses, including mushroom-based dishes and pasta with rich sauces. Its versatility also makes it suitable as an aperitif wine, capable of stimulating the palate and preparing it for the pleasures of the table.
