Trentangeli Aglianico Castel del Monte DOC from Tenuta Bocca di Lupo is an organic red wine that presents the Aglianico variety within the Castel del Monte DOC. It shows a restrained, focused character: the color leans toward deep ruby and the aromatic profile, without exaggeration, suggests dark berry notes and moderate tertiary hints. The organic certification points to attentive vineyard management and agronomic practices aimed at limiting chemical inputs. On the palate it offers present but not intrusive tannins and a structure that favors compactness over explosiveness; it will suit those who appreciate an expressive yet measured red. It pairs well with medium-bodied dishes such as roasted meats, savory ragùs and not overly intense aged cheeses; recommended serving temperature is about 16–18 °C. Storage and decanting are personal choices: a short period of aeration before serving can help open the aromas.
