The Valtellina Superiore DOCG "Inferno Riserva" by Casa Vinicola Rainoldi represents the pinnacle of quality and expression of Nebbiolo, or Chiavennasca, grown in the extreme conditions of the "Inferno" sub-area of Valtellina. This denomination evokes the steep rocky terraces exposed to the intense sun, which contribute to a particularly "fiery" microclimate, favorable for the optimal ripening of the grapes. Casa Vinicola Rainoldi, with its centenary history and dedication to the production of wines that reflect the Valtellina terroir, has created a Reserve that embodies the depth, complexity and elegance that only the best soils and meticulous care in the vineyard and in cellar can offer.

The "Inferno Riserva" is the result of a rigorous selection of the best Nebbiolo grapes, subjected to a careful winemaking process that aims to enhance the varietal peculiarities and the distinctive character of the terroir. Fermentation takes place using traditional techniques, followed by a long maceration which allows the extraction of noble tannins and complex aromas. The subsequent refinement in wooden barrels for a prolonged period contributes to harmoniously intertwining the tannic structure with the notes of fruit and spices, enriching the wine with a subtle elegance and a notable aging capacity.

Visually, the "Inferno Riserva" has an intense garnet red color, with orange nuances that develop with evolution in the bottle. On the nose, the wine reveals a complex and layered bouquet, with aromas of ripe red fruits, dried roses, spices, tobacco and a light trace of minerality, which together create a rich and enveloping olfactory experience.

In the mouth, the wine expresses a powerful elegance, with a well-defined tannic structure and balanced acidity that supports its freshness. The flavors of cherry, plum and spices blend with balsamic and earthy notes, leading towards a long and persistent finish, characterized by a notable gustatory complexity and an aftertaste that invites reflection.

Ideal in combination with rich and structured dishes, such as red meats, game, mushroom-based dishes and mature cheeses, the Valtellina Superiore DOCG "Inferno Riserva" by Casa Vinicola Rainoldi is a prestigious choice for lovers of mountain wines and Nebbiolo of high expression, offering a tasting experience that celebrates the richness and diversity of the Valtellina wine heritage.
