The Vdf Jeux de Clés Grenache Noir from Domaine des Deux Cles is an extraordinary expression of the potential of Grenache Noir in the Languedoc region of France. With an intense ruby color and violet highlights, this wine opens with an aromatic and captivating bouquet of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and a light note of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it stands out for its balanced structure and smoothness, with a fine yet persistent tannin offering a pleasant tactile sensation. Flavors of raspberries, strawberries, and black pepper gently fade into a long and aromatic finish. The limited production and attention to detail make this wine a true gem for connoisseurs and an excellent pairing for dishes based on red meat, game, or aged cheeses. A wine that not only respects but celebrates the terroir from which it comes.

Domaine des Deux Clés – Winery in Languedoc — Corbières (Occitanie)

Discover the story and wines of Domaine des Deux Clés.

Small Corbières domaine (Languedoc, France) known for minimal-intervention red, white and rosé wines, produced using organic and biodynamic practices on high-altitude vineyards.
Region: Languedoc — Corbières (Occitanie)
Country: France
Founded: 2015
Grapes: Carignan, Grenache (noir), Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris, Syrah, Roussanne, Macabeu (Macabeo), Vermentino (Rolle)
Vineyards at mid-to-high altitude on terraces and slopes in the Corbières. Vineyard work follows organic practices, and many parcels are managed biodynamically. Low-intervention winemaking: indigenous yeasts, use of concrete tanks and used barrels, often bottled without filtration. Range of local blends: Carignan, Grenache, Macabeu, Roussanne, Vermentino, Syrah Small producer with very old vineyard parcels; for some parcels.
Winery history
According to commercial sources and technical materials, the project is led by Gaëlle and Florian Richter. The domaine was established as a modern winemaking estate in recent years and has quickly developed a range of cuvées typical of the Corbières. Information on the dating and development of the domaine is taken from technical datasheets and online distributor presentations.
Production philosophy
Vineyard work is oriented toward organic farming and, for many cuvées, biodynamics; hand-harvesting, use of indigenous yeasts, low-intervention winemaking, and bottling often without fining or filtration. In the cellar, concrete tanks and used oak barrels are employed for some cuvées, with limited amounts of sulfur dioxide.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in Fontjoncouse, in the Corbières area, the vineyard sits on terraces and mid-altitude slopes with Triassic clay-limestone soils; varied exposures and terraced parcels characterize the area.
