Il Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva rappresenta la storia della Tenuta. È infatti il primo Vino Nobile prodotto fin dalla prima annata di produzione di questa denominazione. Un vino che nasce da vigneti selezionati, i più alti della proprietà, nei quali il sangiovese-prugnolo gentile dimora da oltre 30 anni.

Le uve vengono vendemmiate selezionando quelle con la migliore esposizione e tipologia di terreno; fermentazione con macerazione a temperatura controllata (24°-28° C) con rimontaggi giornalieri e délestage; al termine della fermentazione alcolica si procede ad una macerazione post fermentativa a 29° C, dopo la svinatura il vino prosegue il suo affinamento in legno di rovere per minimo 18 mesi seguiti da 6 mesi in bottiglia.

Il sapore è pieno, persistente e con una componente tannica evidente. Il tenore di acidità completa la forte struttura di questo vino.

Fattoria del Cerro is part of the Tenute del Cerro project and is listed among the major wine estates in the Montepulciano area. According to the estate's official information, the property includes vineyards registered on the Vino Nobile register and also offers hospitality services and dining, as well as tours and tastings.
Production philosophy
The winery showcases the area's indigenous varieties, with a clear focus on Prugnolo Gentile and targeted clonal selection for quality. Production aims to express the terroir through grape selection, aging in barrels, and wine tourism experiences that combine wine and hospitality.
Terroir and vineyards
Located on the hills of Montepulciano, the estate extends over a large landholding with varying aspects and soils that allow the selection of the best parcels for each vintage. For some wines, technical details indicate hill elevations and soil composition with the presence of pebbles and fossils; for specific labels, altitudes of around 350–450 m a.s.l. are reported.
