The Vitoska Carso DOC from Castelvecchio is a white wine that originates from a meticulous vinification of Vitoska grapes, cultivated in the scenic region of the Carso, in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The uniqueness of this terroir is reflected in the distinctive character of this wine, marked by the influences of the limestone-rich Karst soil and the typically windy climate.

This Vitoska Carso DOC presents a pale and luminous straw yellow color. On the nose, it stands out for its delicate bouquet, where notes of white flowers, green apple, and subtle mineral hints intertwine, reminiscent of the Carso's limestone rock. On the palate, the attack is fresh, followed by a pleasant acidity and a balanced structure that makes it pleasantly persistent.

Recommended pairing with seafood appetizers and fish-based dishes, but it also pairs well with light vegetarian cuisine. Serve chilled, at 8-10 °C to fully enjoy its freshness and nuances. A distinctive wine that encapsulates the pure expression of its terroir, ideal for those seeking in a white wine the genuine traces of its origin.
