The Volubile Nebbiolo Langhe DOC, produced by the renowned Bricco Carlina winery, is a red wine that captivates with its rich personality and exquisite complexity. This exceptional example is made from Nebbiolo grapes, an iconic vine of the Piedmontese wine heritage, known for its aging potential and its ability to elegantly reflect the terroir from which it comes.

The Volubile Nebbiolo Langhe DOC stands out for its intense ruby red color with garnet reflections that become more pronounced as it ages. On the nose, it evokes a harmonious and inviting bouquet, with dominant notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, enriched by floral nuances of violet and spicy hints of pepper and vanilla, a result of its maturation in wood.

On the palate, the wine is extraordinarily balanced, displaying a well-integrated tannic structure and a lively freshness that leads to a very persistent finish. Thanks to its natural acidity, it pairs perfectly with a variety of dishes, from red meat to aged cheeses.

Perfect to be served at a temperature of 18°C, the Volubile Nebbiolo Langhe DOC is ideal for a special occasion or to enrich the collection of any enthusiast. Over time, this wine shows an incredible ability to evolve, developing complexity and sophistication that will seduce the most demanding palates.

Winery history
The winery grew from family experience and the enthusiasm of Camilla and Francesco Scavino. The siblings established their winery when they returned to their home region, transforming an experimental project started in the family farmhouse into a small commercial production. The estate has since expanded by working vineyards across the Langhe and Monferrato and by creating labels that showcase the local crus.
Production philosophy
Low-impact viticulture with an organic and eco‑sustainable approach; minimal-intervention winemaking practices to enhance the typicity of the grapes and the terroir, prioritizing innovation that does not alter the product.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located across the hills of the Langhe and Monferrato, with headquarters and operations at the foothills of the Castello di Grinzane Cavour. Calcareous‑clayey soils, favourable exposures and vineyards cultivated using organic methods are highlighted in the winery's profile.
