The Port Askaig 17 years old is a Scottish single malt that has its roots on the island of Islay, famous for its whiskies with a strong and maritime character. This carefully selected distillate celebrates the balance between tradition and complexity, offering a long and refined maturation that enhances the typical sensory profile of the area.

Produced with some of the most distinctive peated malts in the region, the Port Askaig 17 presents an enveloping bouquet, where saline notes intertwine with aromas of seasoned wood, spices, and a hint of citrus. The prolonged aging, often carried out in oak barrels that have previously held other distillates, imparts softness, depth, and a persistence that lasts long on the palate.

On the taste, smoky and iodine notes emerge that evoke the sea breeze, accompanied by sweet hints of vanilla and caramel. It is perfect as an after-dinner drink or for moments of contemplation, ideal to be enjoyed neat or with a little water to further release its most hidden aromas. A whisky that tells the wild and authentic charm of Islay, destined for enthusiasts seeking elegance and intensity.
