Refined for nearly three decades, this whisky has been matured in Mizunara Japanese oak barrels, an extremely rare wood that imparts elegant aromas of sandalwood, incense, and spicy notes with a surprisingly delicate character. On the palate, a perfect balance between sweetness and softness emerges, with flavors of vanilla, tropical fruits, and a subtle smoky vein that adds complexity and depth. The finish is long, refined, and slightly spicy, evoking the spirit of the Japanese seasons and the art of patience.
A whisky of this stature is best enjoyed neat, preferably at room temperature to fully appreciate every nuance, ideally accompanied by delicate sweets or refined Asian cuisine dishes, which enhance its aromatic richness without overpowering it.
