On the palate it confirms a pleasant roundness: the body is moderate, the warmth well calibrated and the texture silky. The sip is harmonious, with fruity returns and a hint of citrus that cleanses the palate, while the finish is of medium persistence and leaves memories of malt and gentle spice. Excellent enjoyed neat, with a few drops of water to open it up, it also makes an elegant companion to dark chocolate or aged cheeses without overpowering the dish.
